I'm sorry. The purpose of this is...? Not that it would be a good one, but is there some kind of stupid reasoning behind it? Or did a father get up one morning and say, "hey, ya'll hold a mattress and i'm going to throw my son off of that roof!" and the rest of the fathers all lined up to do it because they thought it was brilliant? Good gosh.
