fun-filled fourth

Some things that made my 4th of July weekend one to remember ...

1. Patriotic halter tops on weiner dogs.
2. A man at the grocery store saying to me, "Girl, I like the way you wear those jeans." Creepy.
3. A random man walking past my friend's porch who stopped and sang "This Land is Your Land" to us ... and us singing it back.
4. Watching fireworks while drinking beer and listening to Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American." I've never felt more American (or redneck).
