chocolate-peanut buttergasm

Reese's Cake

Cheater Cake:
1 Boxed chocolate cake mix, prepared in 9 x 13 pan*
1 jar hot fudge

Frosting:
1 cup confectioner's sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
5 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temp
3/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/3 cup heavy cream

Garnish:
1/2 bag mini Reese's cups, chopped

Directions:
While cake is still hot, poke holes in top and pour hot fudge over top. Spread and let soak into cake. Let cool.

Beat all ingredients except heavy cream together in a medium mixing bowl. Beat in cream until smooth. Spread over cake. Top with Reese's cups.

Eat. Lick your plate. And your friend's plate.

* Baker's secret - if cooking in a dark pan, set oven 25 degrees cooler. Test cake for doneness rather than depending on box cooking time. The box lies.

I would invite a lot of friends just so I could lick their plates.
